So I
finally got my first juicer for my birthday..and I love it! There were two main reasons why I wanted to get the juicer..
1. To eat more servings of raw fruits and vegetables.
2. To get my son (4 yrs old) to eat more vegetables through juicing because he kept on getting colds.
So, on our first day of juicing..we decided to try all the fruits I had on hand together with celery and carrots. For the first time, my toddler drank the celery/grape juice without complaining, and drank all the carrot/ and apple juice and enjoyed it at the same time.
So what are the reported benefits of drinking fresh juice?
- you get enzymes from raw foods that aid digestion
- none of the artificial coloring
- none of the sweetener or high fructose syrup
- better health and vitality
- help the environment by not throwing away plastic bottles or cartons
- save money
- more vitamins and minerals than commercial juices
