Turkey Vegetable Pie

Ooh Yum. I love quiche. I also love my beef and potato empanada. This is like a hybrid of both. This pie contains ground turkey sausage (nitrate free), cubed potatoes, red peppers, onions with low fat sour cream, eggs and cheddar cheese. Can't wait to dive into this mouthwatering goodness. Filipino Style Chicken Adobo

I love Whole Foods and I love Emerill. So what a surprise for me to find Emerill cooking one of the classic Filipino dishes on Planet Green! Here is the recipe, and if you want to watch the video, go to www.planetgreen.com Yield: 4 to 6 servings Ingredients: 8 bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs, about 3 pounds 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/3 cup soy sauce 4 cloves crushed garlic 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup chicken stock, plus a bit for dissolving arrowroot 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 large bay leaf 2 tablespoons arrowroot or cornstarch 3 to 4 (6-ounce) Yukon gold potatoes, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces and blanched Salt, to taste Aromatic Jasmine Rice, for serving Method: Place the chicken, 1/4 cup of the olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, the crushed garlic cloves and salt and pepper in a large glass bowl. Jollibee Spaghetti Recipe aka Pinoy Spaghetti

(Picture above: We recently visited Jollibee in Queens, NY) This is what it looks like with their Chicken Joy . YUM!!! What is Jollibee (Popular fast food restaurant in the Philippines, now also certain parts in the USA) Spaghetti? It's the cheesy spaghetti with the sweet tomato sauce with meat and cut up sausage and hotdog pieces. Filipinos are known for their sweet tooth, thus this dish. Compared to the regular Italian spaghetti, this is Waaaay Sweeter. Here's my own version of the recipe. I've substituted ground dark turkey meat for the ground beef (to make it less fattening) and organic beef hotdog (without the nitrates). Fry in a sauce pan: 2-3T EVOO (olive oil) 1/2lb ground Turkey Meat (or hormone free beef) When meat is brown, add 1-2 pcs of sliced organic hotdogs (beef or pork). Pamela's Gluten FreeChocolate Chip Cookies

Ummmm. So delish! I baked Chocolate Chip (White and Semisweet)with Walnut gluten free cookies using Pamela's pancake and baking mix. They have a unique taste better than regular cookie mix. If you want to try it, pick Pamela's mix at your local Whole Food's Market or wherever they offer natural food items. Make sure you pick gluten free chocolate pcs too (not included in the mix).
